The Tri-County Dairy Promoters are again sponsoring a Dairy Poster Contest to promote the Tri County Dairy Breakfast on June 14th from 6:30-10:30AM at the Washburn County Fairgrounds. The poster must be submitted to the Washburn County Extension Office (304 2nd Street, Shell Lake, WI 54871) by June 2nd to be entered into the contest. Contest rules are as follows:
Open to ALL youth who have completed K-2nd Grade! 4-H and community youth welcome. Event will be held Tuesday, August 19th from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Hunt Hill Nature Center, N2384 Hunt Hill Rd., Sarona, WI. Cost is $20 per person. Scholarships are available if needed. Calling all 12-19 year olds! 4-H Outpost Camp will be held at Luther Park Camping and Retreat Center in Danbury, WI on July 15-17, 2025. Activities will include camping in treehouses, outdoor cooking over campfires, canoeing, swimming and outdoor fun and games. Cost is $110 per youth. Camperships are available. Washburn-Burnett-Douglas County 4-H Summer Camp 2025 will be held July 7-9th, 2025 at Luther Park Camp, 30376 Lakes Dr., Danbury, WI. Open to all youth ages 8-11. Cost is $140 and $70 camperships are available. If you enroll at 4-H online to become a member by April 7th you are eligible for a $70 campership fee per the Washburn County 4-H Funding Policy. Camp registration deadline is June 9th.
