Triple P (ages 0-12) Programs

NEW In-Person Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) class opportunity AND Registry credit NOW available for childcare providers! Beginning on May 10th parents and caregivers of children ages 0-12 will have an opportunity to attend the Positive Parenting Program sessions in-person at Lakeland Family Resource Center at 819 Ash Street, Spooner, during the 6:00-7:30 p.m. class time.  Both the 9:00-10:30 a.m. and the 6:00-7:30 p.m. session will also be available to attend via the Zoom virtual platform as well.This program has also recently been approved for 1.5 hours of Registry credit for childcare providers for each session. The course and all materials are offered FREE of charge; if Registry credit is desired there is a charge of $10 per session.

The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-12 provide strategies to raise confident and healthy children, build strong family relationships, manage misbehavior, and prevent problems from happening in the first place.

This program includes seminars and discussion groups to help you refresh and build your parenting or care giver skills and see positive change in your children.  You are welcome to attend sessions individually or register for as many as you would like.  The next set of dates, times, and topics offered are:

  2. Dealing with Misbehavior Discussion Group – Tuesday, May 17th, 2022
  3. Raising Confident Competent Children Seminar – Tuesday, May 24th, 2022
  4. Managing Fighting and Aggression Discussion Group – Tuesday, May 31st, 2022
  5. Raising Resilient Children Seminar -Tuesday, June 7th, 2022
  6. Develop a Good Bedtime Routine Discussion Group – Tuesday, June 14th,  2022
